Camille Acey

People come to me for:

A listening ear and practical guidance for planning a great ending for their project or organization.

I love working with:

Organizations that are headed up by caring leaders that want to have an impact not only in their organization's field but on civil society more broadly.

Me at a beautiful meal at the Bergdorf Goodman restaurants. I love beautiful food with good friends!

My fave ways to find joy + ease:

Dancing! I love techno and house music.

Why Helia loves Camille:

We don’t know Camille well - and when Katya Fels Smyth introduced us to her and her incredible resources for organizations that are self-described to help “ending with dignity is a process of acceptance, compassion, and care for our communities and ourselves”, they felt exactly like the world we want to help create an dive in.

Grateful to help share more on someone that shares their resources generously and shows up so beautifully because, as Camille’s organization, the Wind Down Project say, “We deserve better endings.”

This is a great photo by legendary Brooklyn photographer Joseph Rodriguez. He captured so much raw urban glee in the 70s and 80s. I love this city and the way people make community across cultures

Work with me!

Organizations come to me to hold space for critical discernment and heavy emotions, facilitate difficult conversations, and support them in bringing their civic organization or project to an honorable close. You can reach out via my website.
