Why Helia loves Andrea:
Andrea is a human who gets things done, both for her own work AND for everyone else! She started Propeller in New Orleans that supported HUNDREDS of social start ups (including helping to bring Revolution Foods to NOLA) and knows how to get down and dirty to build an accounting spreadsheet that actually gives you the info you need.
When she said, “To me, to build a successful fundraising "department"/function in your org, it's about process and making fundraising feel like a well-oiled machine with repeatable processes. The fundraising "plan" is a general guide, but it all comes down to how you implement that plan donor by donor, prospect by prospect.” - we were sold!!!
(Fun fact - Andrea set the condition that to move from New Orleans to the Bay Area she would have to live amidst the redwoods - and now she does!!!!)
