Nina Jacinto

My favorite kind of project is…

My favorite kind of project is one where you get to design processes or improvements that will benefit your staff. Getting to think through "What are we trying to solve for" and finding the right type of architecture and implementation to strengthen your people operations makes me practically giddy.

I love working with:

People managers! Managing people can be such a challenge and also an incredible experience. Helping managers to grow and improve and working with them through the tougher parts of management brings me a lot of personal satisfaction.

Nina in her natural habitat - breezy, sunny, and by the ocean.

My fave ways to find joy + ease:

Cuddling the cats, crocheting, reading British mysteries, taking long walks

Why Helia loves Nina:

While we haven’t worked together directly since like 2009(!), Nina has always been fun, witty, thoughtful and a human who gets things done and is constantly learning along the way. She celebrates and centers humans - while also figuring out how to make sense of the systems and processes and tools that we all need around us.

Anyone that creates The Layoff Guide with a subtitle, How to Do a Shitty Thing in the Least Shitty Way, is our kind of human (they made a guide, they acknowledge the shittiness, they’re funny!).

CFO (Chief Feline Officer) and new intern who started in January.
